The plain terms of buying from the house: who sells, what a price includes, and what happens once you pay.

Who sells

CompanyThe company's legal name, as on its trade licence^†, trading as Novyn.

Trade licenceThe licence number and the authority that issued it^†

AddressThe company's registered address in the UAE^†

VAT numberThe TRN, or a line that the company is not VAT-registered^†

Prices and paying

In dirhamsEvery price is in UAE dirhams (AED) and includes VAT at 5%.

Nothing addedDelivery and any fee are shown before you pay. Nothing is added after.

PayingBy card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, through Stripe^†. Your card goes to the payment provider, never to the house.

A wrong priceIf a price on the site is plainly wrong, we tell you before the parcel leaves, and you choose: pay the right price, or cancel for a full refund.^†

Your order

The contractPaying is your offer to buy. The contract is made when the payment is confirmed and we email your receipt.

The receiptIt is your invoice. Keep it for a return.^†

If we can'tIf something can't be sent (it has sold out, say), we tell you at once and refund it in full.

Your accountKeep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. How we keep your details is in Privacy.

Delivery

WhereAnywhere in the UAE.^† Times and fees are on the Help page, and checkout shows yours before you pay.

Handing overThe parcel is yours once it is handed over at the address you gave. If nobody is in, the courier calls your mobile and tries again.^†

LateIf a parcel is late, write to us. If it is much later than we said, you can cancel it for a full refund.^†

Gift wrap, notes and charms

The noteWritten by hand, as you typed it, up to 140 characters. We may leave out a note that is offensive, and will tell you if we do.^†

CharmsA few charms come with every bag, our pick, unless you tell us which you'd like.

Pictures and returns

ColoursWe show every piece as truly as we can, but screens differ, and a colour can look a little different in your hands.

14 daysUnused and in its box, within 14 days of delivery.^† The whole policy, with refunds and card disputes, is in Returns & refunds.

The law

Your rightsWe are responsible for sending what you ordered, as described, and for putting right anything faulty. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under UAE law.

Governing lawThese terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in Dubai.^†

DisputesWrite to us first. If we can't settle it between us, you can go to the UAE's consumer protection authorities, or to the courts of Dubai.^†

ChangesWe may update these terms. The version on the day you ordered is the one for your order.
